If you have been disappointed with the lack of how-to documentation about using Workflow solution, here is a free e-learning class, provided by Altiris, to get you started.
I installed the solution for a look and quickly hit a wall when I attempted to build my first workflow. This 26-minute course looks as though it will be a big help.

If you have already created a distribution method for Office 2007, turn around, do not pass go, this document is not for you. If you have not undertaken this journey yet, hold on to your pants and continue reading. Use the Registry to Track Changes and Audit

A simple tip to track changes is to create a registry key under "HKLM\Software\\". When you run scripts or installations it is simple through almost all languages to add a string value with some information like install time.
