Workflow Tutorial: Installing Server Extensions

In this tutorial you will how to install the Server Extensions necessary for the Deployment server.

Objective: Install Server Extensions.

Estimated time to complete: 20 minutes

Step 1: Logicbase.Server.exe is a windows service and is included with LogicBase. It is found in your LogicBase folder - usually C:\Program Files\Transparent Logic\LogicBase 2006\Designer\ServerExtensions.

Step 2: Open this file to run the Installer for LogicBase Server. The installation requires that IIS be restarted.

Step 3: Once the intallation is complete, the Server Extensions Configuration window will appear on the screen. Most of the options will be checked by default.

Step 4: Configuration for server extensions can be changed at any time. The file path is: C:\Program Files\Transparent Logic\LogicBase 2006\Server Extensions and the file name is LogicBase.ServerExtensions.WinConfig.exe

Step 5: Once the service is registered it is visible in the Windows Services list.

Step 6: Once this Server Extension has been installed, you can start deploying server applications.
