I've had various issues that seemed to be caused by a dropped SQL connection. I was having a hard time proving this though, so I came up with the SQL Monitor script to tell me if SQL ever goes down or cannot be connected to from the Deployment Server.

This script contains the file information for the necessary files to install ADO 2.1 for use with the native OLE DB drivers for Access (Jet 3.51) and MS SQL Server only. It leaves out the mountains of ODBC support stuff. NOTE: ADO2.1 does require the latest versions of: asycfilt.dll, msvcirt.dll, msvcrt.dll, oleaut32.dll, olepro32.dll, and stdole2.tlb. These ship with the MDAC and "must" also be installed by your script.
