In our environment we have SAN attached storage so the "Low Disk Space" Notification out of the box was just not cutting the mustard for us. We were getting returns on all mapped drives disk space and having to sift through that data each week.

The ASDK AxSched that is posted elsewhere on this website has a bug that I have fixed in the attached source code and compiled executable.

The original ASDK AxSched.exe had a problem where if a job name was passed to the program, and multiple jobs contained that text. the first job created with that contained text will be scheduled. Such as if there was a job called "Deploy Image" and "Deploy", and the program was called with just "Deploy" as the job name, it might schedule "Deploy Image" instead of the job "Deploy".

This article documents the use of the new Altiris Installation and Configuration Manager (AICM) wizard. AICM is now used to install many of the Altiris solutions where the Notification Server has not already been installed.
