Internet Explorer 7 'screwed into' Windows XP SP3
With the recent release of Windows XP SP3, many home users might have begun the upgrade process. However, I'm betting that a majority of IT shops are holding off and doing some testing. I came across this interesting bit of info and thought it might help some people make the upgrade decision.
Imager Pick List Mode (MC50, MC70, and MC9090-G)
If you have problems where your MC50 doesn't scan the correct barcode all the time and you have to delete the entry and rescan it, the "Imager Pick List" option will help!

WinPE Fails to Validate its IP Address When Running in a "169.254" Network
When running WinPE 1.6 or 2.1 in a "169.254" network (this is normally the case if a computer is running the Cisco VPN client and wishes to have local network connectivity as well), it fails to validate its IP Address and also believes that its drive mapping credentials are incorrect.

Vista SP1 Cleanup
If you plan on installing Vista Service Pack 1 when it is released (highly recommended), you might want to run the cleanup command afterward.
To do this, open the run dialog (Win-R) and type "vsp1cln.exe" (without quotes) and press enter.
