Listening online
I see there is available the plugin to listen the podcast online. Nice features that I suppose that is new for this portal.
Thanks for noticing ...
Yep, you now have the option of downloading our podcasts or you can listen to them directly from the Juice.
The online podcast streams a flash version so users on more platforms (PC, Mac, Linux ...) can enjoy it.
According to Adobe, more than 98% of Internet-enabled desktops have the flash player installed. In comparison, about 84% have Microsoft's Window's Media Player installed.
Looking out for the little guy. It's a way of life here at the Juice ;)
Adobe flash player
That's true! Great feature in a easy way.
Thanks
Good to hear
This is really gr8 that we can have podcast from Randy, who is a Chief SVS Architect, more over we can download the file.
But the only problem which i face being a dial up user tht server does not support resume downloads...
Download manager
Arjain,
Resuming downloads is usually a function of the client software.
Maybe one of these download managers (listed on Wikipedia) can help you out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_download_mana...

Re: Download manager
Thanks JM,
i am currently using Free Download Manager (FDM), it shows site does not support resume.
Ok, let me check with other download manager.
MetaProducts Download Express
Try MetaProducts Download Express (free for personal use), good tool that works on IE and Firefox and allows to download files from the browser and FTP sites.

Download manager
And a wise man is always installing these kind of tools in SVS. You enable it when you need it, and deactivate it when you don't.
That prevents you from numerous messages that download manager detects a bitmap or other kind of junk you don't need.
