Recovery Solution Critical Events Report... In Case You Miss Something

Hot on the heels of my previous post regarding the Recovery Solution (RS) Events list, is this one.

The attached .XML file is an Altiris NS report that will report back any critical RS Event that may have occurred within the last day of activity.

This report is currently designed to filter based upon a hard-coded collection name in the SQL syntax. You can however edit this to include ANY collection name or remove it entirely to report against all computers on the RS. You can also adjust the time frame it reports against and add/remove any event ID's you see fit, it's kinda like Burgerking, "have it your way".

This only includes those snapshot events I was concerned with as well. Please note, the RS Event ID is NOT the same as the Application log event ID. This is based upon a very special, double-super-secret "local system code" that correlates back to an event ID in the log.

I am working on performing this correlation now but I don't read the Matrix like Neo does. Stayed tuned, I'll post THAT one when it's all set too.
