The IT Analytics 6.1 Symantec Endpoint Protection Pack is an add on solution that leverages the advanced multi-dimensional analysis and robust graphical reporting capabilities of the Altiris IT Analytics Solution to provide actionable information that will improve your ability to effectively manage and secure your Symantec Endpoint Protection clients.

This allows users to explore data on their own, without advanced knowledge of databases or third-party reporting tools, empowering them to ask and answer their own questions quickly, easily, and effectively. In addition, the integrated perspective gained by applying the power of IT Analytics to your Symantec Endpoint Protection system will provide you with new capabilities, which include:

• Ad hoc data mining - a convenient way to navigate and explore your SEP data through interactive, drag-and-drop capabilities.
• Trend analysis - a proactive method of identifying trends and historical views for problem identification and forecasting.
• Dashboards and powerful reporting - provides a holistic view of your IT operations and key performance indicators that help you pinpoint issues and make sound strategic decisions.

Installing

Before installing the IT Analytics 6.1 Symantec Endpoint Protection Pack, you will need to install IT Analytics 6.1 and the Symantec Endpoint Protection Integration Component.
