New Juice Discussion Area Open for Business

New Juice Discussion Area Open for Business
Juicemaster's picture

By popular demand, we've added a forum area where our users can discuss their solutions and query other users for enhancement ideas.

Since we're all about communication here at the Juice, it makes sense to launch an area where users can discuss their solutions, brainstorm new ideas, or even suggest new community features to the Juice team.

Get in on the discussion at http://juice.altiris.com/forum

This area is not intended to be a product support space. Altiris provides a plethora of solid support offerings where product experts hang out and find joy in answering your product questions. If you have a support question, please post it to http://forums.altiris.com

As long as...

...I know the answer, then, "yes," absolutely I enjoy helping out in the support forums! :)

It can be painful to hear about the troubles people are having with my products, but not nearly as painful for me as it is for them. So as long they are getting quality assistance and info -- and as long as we are finding out about defects so they can be fixed -- it's definitely a net good (very good!) thing.

I must agree...

It would be nice to see Altiris have more EAP programs for some of their point products. That would maximize the return not only for customer response and feedback but also provide some hands on time with dev and product managers of the products on site to give the customer the best first impression of the product.

Suppress Desktop during installation

networkchic's picture

Can someone shed some light on how to suppress the desktop during an application installation? We've tried using the RunOnce key but the app doesn't always start to install right at logon and users have been able to open other apps.

Please help.
