I found a very good white paper about lifecycle management.
It compares the KBOX family of appliances from KACE with leading competitors Altiris, LANDesk, and Microsoft. It also explains key best practices in lifecycle management and uses these as a framework for functional comparison. As a bonus, it includes a cost comparison to determine overall solution value.

Not bad...
I was glad this wasn't a white paper trying to sell a particular product. Most times that's all it is, marketing in a white paper disguise.

Commercial whitepapers
I know that lots of white papers are there to sell a particular product, and we do the same, but there are also lots of white papers written by administrators that compare products. The difficult part is to find them, and that is why i post these things. If you need commercial white papers, they can be found very easy.

Well..
Although some interesting points about lifecycle management, i would be very wary about a document that explains best practises when the article is sourced (and funded) by that vendor (this case, its Kace).
There are many, many points that could be raised regarding best practises that KACE have mysteriously forgotten to mention.
