A technology in Recovery Solution that is similar to delta-byte differencing. The concept is that if a file on a Recovery Solution client computer has changed since the last backup, only the differences are transmitted to the Recovery Server. This improves backup efficiency on the client computer, minimizes bandwidth consumption, and reduces disk space.
