Close running applications

Close running applications

Is there a feature available to prompt the user performing the install to close all running applications? I've seen some installs display a list of running applications, similar to the applications tab in task manager, that need to be closed before the installation can continue. Are these custom actions or is this a feature available to us?

You can take a look at INNOSCRIPT.
create a executable or a msi, and create a installer with Innoscript.
Innosript has some good newsgroups that can help you do the task you wish.
