Data Class access within the solution?

I have created a data class using the Altiris SDK wizard, which makes an entry in the config class.. Upon installing the solution on NS, it do creates a table also in the NS cMDB..
Now, my question is how do I make an entry in the data class from within the solution?

The next step is to associate the data class with an asset type. As an example, if you wanted to use this data class for the "computer" asset type you would go to Configuration-->Resource Settings-->Resource Type-->Asset Types-->IT-->Computer. Now, under the Configuration tab on the left hand side you will have a button on the bottom to add data classes. Since you have created a user defined data class you will most likely find it under Configuration-->Resource Settings-->Data Classes-->User Defined.
