Microsoft Licenses with Software Assurance

We are just setting up our Altiris system and we're having trouble figuring out if Altiris will track Microsoft Licenses with Software Assurance(SA)contracts.

For instance, we have several Windows Server licenses with SA remaining for 1-2 years, other Windows Servers we bought without SA. And even though we have SA on most servers, we still run Windows 2003, or 2000.

Mapping the purchases without SA seems straight forward. But how about the 2000 installs that are running under a 2003 (or higher because of SA) license?

We used spreadsheets to track this before but would like to use Altiris to do this now, if it will.

Any ideas? Need more info? Please let me know.
