Desktop Shortcut Not Installed

Hi,
I am currently working with Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.6.When i install the apps in Normal mode an desktop shortcut is Created.But when i installed the apps in silent mode using /qb the desktop shortcut is not Created but the apps is installed .The Shortcut is not advertised and the advertise option is disabled.The source is in MSI.How to make the shortcut advertised and What would be the problem?
