Is This Possible? (Helpdesk)
Hello ALL,
I'm kinda new to Altiris and i'm trying some solutions to see whether this fits or not!
Can I, using Helpdesk, select a contact that has a Contract with us that couverages many assets, such has: computers, monitors, etc? Meaning: 1st I create a company, then a contract; then contacts; finnaly I associate the contract to the company. then in helpdesk when I select a contact the assets that appear should belong only to the contract that I have with that company. Plus, i would like to check whether an asset is under warranty or not. For last I would like to associate SLA to Contacts so i can ajust the due time, etc based on the SLA.
I hope that I make myself understood!
Is this possible?

Asset management Level 2
You'll need to use Asset Management Suite Level 2 to do those kinds of associations and linkages.
Once you've got them implemented you can usually perform customizations to get that information into the Helpdesk Solution, but it can be difficult.
