Error 1335 : the cabinet file 'cabs.w1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. this could indicate an network erroe, an error reading from the CD-ROM or a problem with this package
anybody knows the solution plz help
what the problem in package or else

hi
plz solution
i also getting the same problem while i insatl the softwere
pls replay me for the solution
Try this
The sequence number of the cab are misplaced. This is generally the reason when we get such an error. You can try things:
1) If it is a capture package, recompile the msi and generate the cab file. Remember the delete the previously created cab file.
2) Check the last sequence of your file in File table and match the same with the sequence number in the media table.
3) Check the cabs table and the media table, the cabs name should be the same. and in cabs table, it should be mentioned like #cabs.w1.cab
Let me know if this helps, else we can try some other things. Mention some more details if possible.

Look at this
These types of errors usually are the result of corrupted sources
This could stem from other problems, such as an unreliable network ocnnection or overloading your system, scratched or dirty disks and etc.
If you are repackaging from a cdrom, try making an iso of it first, and working off that.
If you are repackaging from a network share, copy the entire file to your local drive and then re-attempt.
If you are in an environment where your connections are unreliable, go to a place where there is a reliable connection, download the necessary files onto a protable drive and then go back and work from there.
