SVS Agent keeps being disable on Virtual PC
Hi All,
I've setup a Windows XP system under Microsoft Virtual PC 2007. Everything is working fine and the altiris agents install ok to the PC. However the SVS agent keeps being disabled and no software apps get install to the virtual PC.
I suspect it's becuase we have a task that says "Install SVS agent to all 32bit PC without SVS installed". The standard task that you get with the "out of the box" install.
I think that Altiris doesn't see this as a 32bit PC but as a Virtual PC. Am I right in my assumptions? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or should it just work and something else as screwed up on the install to stop it appearing.
Many thanks
Leonard

Virtual pc not recognized as 32 bit
On windows 64 bit platforms with virtual pc, i saw some strange behaviour, because Altiris indeed does not recognize it as 32 bit, even when the guest is, Altiris thinks it is a 64 bit.
Try install SVS manually.

Erik
