Invalid Package when using default location.

I have created a Package for installing Wordperfect x3 on several pc's. When I use the default location on the NS/package servers it will not download to the package servers. It comes up as a invalid package. If I tell it to go to a different folder on the package server it downloads there but will not download to client pc. I tried alternate location on the client PCs and that did not work either. Package is 472 MB.

After looking at the agent
After looking at the agent log on the package server, the error is an invalid HTTP path when the package server attempts to download.
We've tried rebuilding the package, and deleting and forcing the policy.xml file to be recreated but the same error occurs.
The package is quite large (over 450 MB ) and contains a directory tree that is fairly deep with some long path names.
Are there package size or path length limitations we may be running into?
