Win32 software purchase problem

Hello..
We just started developing an Altiris implementation strategy and are currently familiarizing ourselves with the program (playing around with Altiris, I.e. creating dummy licenses, etc..) I've run into a simple, yet frustrating situation when creating contract types (usually Win32 licenses). I go into create a new Win32 license (or edit one) and sometimes I will run into this problem:

- When attaching a software purchase rule, after I complete the rule, it will show up as created for a split second and then the page looks like it refreshes and the rule is gone, never to be seen again.. it also will not show up when I refresh the table at the bottom of that tab, or when I refresh the Summary tab.

I was just wondering if:
- it's a known problem
- it's an easy fix
- there are any patches out that took care of this that I may have missed, etc..
- and last but not least, I was wondering what the best place to go for help would be for n00bs such as myself.
