Notification Server interferring with DVD-Ram Drives in VISTA

I have just Deployed Vista Business SP1 out to a lab of machines. I used Deployment server and rapideploy. The machines worked find until I install the Altiris Agent used in Notification Server. Version 6.0.6074 on the console and 6.0.2394 on the Agent on the computer. What happens is that once the Agent has been install the DVD-Ram drive act as though all CD are blank and ask to name the CD. Does anybody have any idea why that would be happening. THese are Gateway machine with HL DVD-ram drives. Thanks.
