Thin Client Image

Hi All,

I am new to Altris system, deployed the Altris and now trying to push the image to thin client , but thin client keeps rebooting and in the end error comes up on the deployment console "no boot to automation ".
Have also checked on the Thin client when it is booting , PXE -E53 - No boot filename found.

Can anyone advice me how to push the image from DS.Have gone through the artical from HP , how to image the softpaq , but after running it , it creates 3 files , with one as Flash.IBR not as Flash.IMG.

Please help me. !

Usually the PXE E53 means the PXE server cannot be contacted. There are several reasons for this one, a common one is a firewall blocking ports that PXE uses.

Check kb.altiris.com for the error message and one of the articles should be able to help.

Deploying the HP Image

Hi,

After unpacking the HP softpaq , it has installed with 3 files , but according to the HP artical , it should install with Flash.IMG , but installed with Flash.IBR.
Have changed the extention to IMG , shows as Altris Image file.

When adding the job to Run Script from DS, it says invalid image.

Is there any document to follow the steps.

Appreciate if some can help !
