ESX Inventory reporting service console only

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

I have about 20 ESX servers in our grid. We have deployed the Altiris NS 6.2 client to the systems (2 - ESX v2.5.3 and 18 ESX v3.5).

The Altiris inventory when you review the resource Summary is only showing the hardware that is available through the ESX service console - ESX version isn't a factor.

E.G. My DL585G2 shows 1 processor and 781MB ram. There are 4 dual core procs in the box and ram is maxed out (64MB i think?). What's the "trick" to get Altiris to see the rest of the hardware or is this a limitation because ESX is "protecting" the hardware layer via the service console?
