Windows Vista and Altiris SVS 2.1

I'm trying to install the Altiris SVS 2.1.2095 software virtualization software onto Windows Vista machines. The product installs but when I try to run it, I get the lovely "Vista hates you" message that run32dll is being closed by DEP. I have disabled DEP and get the run32dll is being closed by Vista taunt.

The machines are Vista Business with SP1. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

In Vista SP1 there is a problem with the filterdriver that causes unknown errors. The best thing to do is not migrate to SP1 yet.
I bet Altiris is already working on this.

One of my friend had similar problem in his lap top, but its Vista 32 Bit Home premium.
To resolve this, he ran Ccleaner (From www.Ccleaner.com ) Both Temp files cleaning and Reg cleaning, followed by a shutdown and power on (Not just reboot), then the problem was not there. He didn’t upgrade to SP1. Hope this may work for you too.
