We are getting problems with our Recovery Initial Snapshots. Currently, Initial Snapshots are taking 3 hours to run, even when the client PC that has just been built and is sitting right next to the Server in the build room. Many folders and files have already been excluded. What is going wrong? Should the Initial Snapshot not be quick, as RS has most of the files already saved on the server? Regards, QuietLeni  |

If did not have already, I suggest you upgrade to Altiris Recovery Solution 6.2. Slow computers and connections have better performance on this product. It also fixed some known problems with Recovery Solution 6.1.
