I have one doubt in upgradation using Altiris wise Package studio. Suppose if i want to upgrade the new version of Adobe Reader 8.0 means should i enter all the GUID of the earlier versions of Adobe reader(eg version4,5 etc)? Kindly clarify my doubts.

Select the second msi package. Here test2.msi
All the fields get filled automatically from the previous package.
Depending on the process the fields, you can blank out the minimum version and maximum version. Also uncheck migrate feature states.
Click OK.
