Importing SAS drivers to existing Image
Submitted by harry boyd on 16 April, 2008 - 03:59.
Hi there, I'm looking for some help.
I have a build image which works great but one of our offices has recently purchased some HP xw8600 Workstations. Unfortunately they require a SAS driver. I have edited my image and added the SAS drivers to my drivers folder (it only contains mass storage drivers) and edited my sysprep file to point to the new folder. Unfortunately this fails to load driver therefore drives not recognised and img fails to rdeploy.
does anyone have any ideas where I'm going wrong?
Thanks in advance

Check the unattended section in sysprep.inf
Harry, what does your sysprep.inf look like? In the
[Unattended] section you might make sure you have
"DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore". This will go ahead and install drivers without a WHQL signature. You may also try adding "UpdateInstalledDrivers=Yes" to force Windows to search for new drivers after mini-setup.
If you want to read on these commands and others further you can visit:

Hope this helps!
WinPE or DOS
Don't forget to load those drivers in your WinPE bootup...
