Adding Blackberries as Assets

Adding Blackberries as Assets

I apologize for what may be a basic question. I am new to Altiris. I am interested in adding company phones to the Inventory; however, when I go to the New Asset, under the Help Desk Worker Console, I don't see an area where I can add Cell Phones. Is there another area I need to go to so I may add cell phones as assets?

Hi,

I think you would need to go into the Asset Management section in the NS console, not in the HD Worker console, and add those assets as those types from there.

i don't know if this can be dealt with through the helpdesk console, but through the asset management section manage assets and inventory you could add them into the system.

there is built into asset management an asset type of cell phone.
