Stupid NS pet trick- newbie please be gentle! ;-)
I am working with packaging apps for NS deployment.
One of the applications requires that files be copied locally, then the msiexec run with the usual switches.
In Zenworks, I could just hit the tab that lets me copy a directory before the app runs. That way I don't have to have two apps to do one job, nor do I have to be the Batch Bi*** ;-)
Is there some super-secret tab that lets me copy all files locally first, or am I going to have to do this in a batch file?
The only way I see pushing a directory is through DS, but apparently far fewer people here have DS agent than NS agent, so my miss rate would be high.
An idea of best practice for this sort of situation would be appreciated, as any and all tips/cheats/sympathy!
Thanks!

Hi, The Software Delivery
Hi,
The Software Delivery solution settings can be set to run the install from the server, or to copy the package to the workstations and run it from there. I believe it's in the agent settings.
The package files should be
The package files should be transfered to the client machine before a program is run by default. The folder that you secify as the package source when you create the package is transfered to the client machines. It is stored for the selected timeframe somewhere like c:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Software Delivery\{guid}\cache. For more info read chapter five of the Software Delivery Product guide for more indepth information on how this works.
