Hotfixes to AClient, AXengine, CE 6.0 Agent, DAgent, and Console on Deployment Server 6.9 are available. However, there is no installer, only instructions to manually apply the Hotfixes. While the manual instructions are straight-forward, it can be time-consuming if you have multiple Deployment Servers to apply them to.

Here's a scripting trick. Script conditions are very useful to allow scripts to branch according to different attributes of the job or system. But what if you could branch according to which folder the job is currently in? This adds some new possibilities to how you can control scripts easily, just by moving them to a different folder.

I've done a lot with server performance stats but one of the things I've not found is an easy way to see average, minimum, and maximum values for a performance counter for a time period. Here's some code that'll help you get these stats (without starting from scratch).

The Dell CFI Imaging Tool was initially created for Dell CFI and their customers as a courtesy of Altiris. The free tool allows customers that have installed Altiris Local Recovery products in their gold images to be properly captured for submission to the Dell CFI Engineering Teams.
