We've made a few quick and easy changes to the Juice that should make the site even more responsive and useful.

In the past, forum posts were moderated by our team of editors and approved as quickly as humanly possible. This was problematic, however, when a topic was posted during a weekend or in the dark of night.

In our ongoing quest to make life better for our content contributors, here are a few system enhancements that should melt in your mouth and not in your hand.

Not to be outdone by Apple and their fancy-pants iPod, iMac, and iLife, we on the Juice staff are quick to respond with our own measure of coolness: iCandy.

We've been busy behind the scenes putting the polish on a few new features that are sure to make the Juice experience more enjoyable. We hope we've also made the site more useful for members of our crazy community.

Last week one of our contributors, toralf, found himself in a quandary when he edited one of his articles on Friday and realized that his action had caused it to be unpublished -- until Monday.

He fired me a note asking, "Can the approved version of an article (or tip, or download) stay published on the site until revisions to that article are reviewed and approved?"

Wow, it's been a busy 18 months. We launched the Juice in December '05 with a single focus, SVS, and counted about 16,000 page views that first month. This month we launched our 9th section of the Juice (for Intel) and expect to serve up 250,000 page views.

A few days ago we added a new content type to the Juice called "heads up!" These posts feature beta and release announcements and links to articles of interest that don't live in the community.

It's hard to believe, I know, but we have found useful content that doesn't live on the Juice. Go figure.

During the first keynote of ManageFusion, a BlendTec blender (of http://www.willitblend.com fame) was used to illustrate how "smoothly" Altiris and Symantec would blend.
